Today, his marriage proposal turns into reality: it’s the wedding day! It’s a splendid summer outside and in a few hours we are going to be married! I am so happy and yet overwhelmed by emotions. My mother, my younger sister and my best friend are helping me putting on the dress. Waiting for the hair stylist and the make up girl, I had a few moments to sit and remember flashes of memories, from my past.

How did we get here, in the first place? My husband and I spent a few years together before deciding to get married and have children. We have been friends since last year of college and after graduation we thought it was time to take our relationship to the next level. We were in love and everything that we wanted was to be together, no matter what.

My husband, John, is a very handsome man, very kind but strongly willed. He proposed to me almost one year ago, during our summer vacation, in Europe. We had a two weeks tour through Spain, France and Switzerland. After the first 4 days spent in Spain, we arrived in France. First, we visited Paris, the city of love. One day, wandering on the small romantic streets of Paris, John spotted a little chic cafe where he suggested sitting and having a coffee and a croissant. We were both very enthusiastic about the interesting and wonderful places we had visited in the past days and declared anxious to see more and take more pictures as souvenirs. While we were talking and laughing, John suddenly bent on one knee and got out of his back pack a small red velvet box. This took me by surprise and the only reaction that I had was to ask him what he was doing. He simply replied “I’m proposing: would you like to be my wife?” You could imagine my face, the happy smile, the tears of joy, everything. Around, the people were staring and smiling at us. We kissed and I felt him shaking. It took him some time to plan the scene and lots of courage to put it into practice. For that reason, I’ve valued his proposal, even more. Perhaps it was not magic, but it surely was charming and original.

Years went by and here we are, at the age of 30, finally getting married. The hair stylist and the make up girl are here and I have to concentrate on the last details of my bridal image. I’ll come back to you with the story of my wedding day.

Almost one month ago our company organized one special event for a very nice family. Matt called us with 3 days before his marriage anniversary and explained how happy he was for remembering it in time, in order to plan something nice for his wife, Sarah. He was excited about his request and wanted to come over to discuss, right away. I showed him into my office. Sarah was always the one preparing surprises for him, but this time Matt wanted to switch roles and overwhelm his wife.

I put down some notes to remember all my client’s requests. In the end, I realized that he almost wanted it all: limo pick up in front of their house, flowers and a present for Sarah waiting on the back seat of the limo, a romantic dinner in one of the fanciest restaurants with an orchestra playing, and then a night city tour including the place where they’ve first met, 10 years ago.

Three days is not “in time” at all, even if Matt thought so, and I had to cook up a plan real quick, not to disappoint my client. First, I called all the limo companies we’ve been working with, for reservation and rates. Matt wanted a stretch limo and I managed to find a pretty affordable Chrysler 300 black limo. This one was important since we stress on safety and comfort for our clients. The same day I could even get in touch with the chauffeur designated for our event. I was so pleased to have such an experienced chauffeur for Matt’s anniversary. I knew him personally, as our company successfully collaborated with him on many previous occasions.

Pretty content to have solved planning more than 50% of an event that seemed rather impossible to work out in time, I started to short list the restaurant where the two could have a nice dinner accompanied by a nice orchestra. I came with a few and Matt decided on a very special one, recently opened, and never visited by them before.

A bunch of 21 white lilies was waiting for Sarah when she stepped into the limo, exactly as Matt imagined. The smell of Sarah’s favorite flowers embraced the whole interior of the limo and she looked very happy and surprised to be welcomed this way in what she called a “dream limo”. Matt was not wrong at all choosing the restaurant, as later he told us the food was great and the orchestra incredible.

Although we’ve helped Matt to surprise his wife, she was the one to leave him speechless, once again. While holding hands and having a walk around the place they first met, Sarah told him the big news: they were going to be parents, at last.

Special events deserve special treatment and we are glad we’ve created such unique moments for Matt and Sarah. They were delighted to work with us and completely satisfied with our services. The limo experience spiced up their night and made it one to remember forever.
